About ChasingTales Alaska

ChasingTales Alaska is run by Alex, a first-generation Alaskan raised in southcentral Alaska who caught his first rainbow trout at seven and grew up fishing Susitna tributaries and Kenai Peninsula rivers. His family bought Kenai River Drifter's Lodge in 1998, and he became one of its most requested guides before starting his own operation; the site notes he is now in his 14th season.

The outfit runs shared and private charters on the Kenai and Kasilof rivers — half-day through full-day — for king, sockeye, and silver salmon and rainbow trout, with a small crew that includes Soldotna-raised Marine Corps veteran Kaleb Swank and Army veteran Brady Frank.
