Lingcod are Alaska's most underestimated game fish. These prehistoric-looking predators have massive mouths and fight hard all the way to the surface. A 30–40 lb lingcod is a completely different experience from halibut. They're also considered some of the best table fare in Alaska — firm, white, mild meat that chefs prize.
