Fishing Buddy AK

Fishing Buddy AK is a veteran-owned guide service out of Kasilof run by Garrick, a US Air Force veteran who grew up fishing Red Lake in northern Minnesota and moved to Alaska 14 years ago. Guiding grew out of years of taking friends and family fishing, and the business still runs on that footing.

Trips cover the Kenai and Kasilof rivers for sockeye, king, and coho salmon and rainbow trout, timed to the runs. His stated philosophy is that catching fish is a bonus — getting people outdoors and seeing a client land a first catch is the point.
