Go Fish Charters Ketchikan

Joe Bowen founded GO FISH Charters in Ketchikan in 2003 after a fishing life that started with bass and panfish in Kentucky farm ponds. He has guided for over 40 years — salmon and halibut near Glacier Bay, rivers and saltwater in Western Alaska, and salmon, trout, and steelhead in Washington and Oregon — and moved to Alaska more than 30 years ago.

Aboard the Josie Lyn he runs all-day salmon, halibut, and bottomfish charters for four to six anglers, multi-day packages with lodging, and cruise ship charters, letting guests set the trip's schedule. Wildlife turns up on every charter, and he says his biggest thrill is watching newcomers catch their first fish.
