Kenai River Trout Anglers

Kenai River Trout Anglers is owned and operated by JJ Brown, a Kenai River Guide Academy graduate with a degree in recreation resource management and more than two decades of professional drift-boat guiding on the river. His guide crew — including 15-year Kenai veteran and year-round Cooper Landing resident Matt Rima — runs daily drift trips on the upper, middle, and lower Kenai, including the canyon water.

The focus is rainbow trout and Dolly Varden alongside salmon, fished with fly or spin gear, with an emphasis on teaching technique and conserving the resource.
