To The Limit Sportfishing is run by Captain Ty, who grew up in Ketchikan and has spent over 27 years as a commercial fisherman and charter captain on the Inside Passage. He started fishing at age four, commercial-fished salmon from his mid-teens into his twenties, holds a Coast Guard six-pack license, and has a mechanical engineering degree from Oregon State.

Charters run aboard the Mazie Grace, a 31-foot Uniflite, on private half- and full-day trips for up to six people, targeting king, coho, and pink salmon plus halibut, lingcod, and rockfish. He books trips directly rather than through cruise lines and describes fishing as his passion, not his job.
