Western Wilderness Adventures

Western Wilderness Adventures is a small guide operation on the Kasilof and Kenai river systems, run by owner Alex Chulick, who works as both a drift boat and power boat captain. On the drift-only Kasilof he rows 20-foot Willie drift boats that take up to four anglers, five during sockeye season.

Trips target king, sockeye, and silver salmon along with steelhead, rainbow trout, lake trout, and Arctic char. Chulick says a lifelong love of hunting and fishing led him to guiding so he could let others experience the same passion for the sport.
