About Alaska Wildfowl Adventures
Alaska Wildfowl Adventures was founded by Tim Bouchard, a Coast Guard-licensed captain who also holds waterfowl, big game, and fishing guide licenses and works on the water year-round. The operation runs sea duck and diver hunts out of Valdez, liveaboard Sitka blacktail deer and duck combination hunts, and an upland "Ptarmigan Slam," targeting more than sixteen duck and goose species plus three kinds of ptarmigan.
What began with a single 18-foot boat has grown to four boats, including a 30-foot tender and layout boats. The outfit specializes in safe, high-quality hunts with a low guide-to-client ratio, and guide Lewie Casper carves the harlequin decoys the crew hunts over.
