About H&H Alaskan Outfitters
H&H Alaskan Outfitters started up in 2013, owned and operated by Justin and Christy Horton out of Soldotna, with northern hunts staged from Nome. Justin, Alaska Registered Guide #1332, grew up on a small farm in central Idaho, moved to Alaska in his early twenties, spent nearly 15 years with the state's largest air cargo carrier, and works as a firefighter/paramedic; he holds a 50-gross-ton Coast Guard license and came up assistant-guiding for other outfitters. He belongs to the Alaska Professional Hunters Association and Safari Club International.
The outfit runs fair-chase, spot-and-stalk hunts — brown bear on the Alaska Peninsula and Kodiak, arctic grizzly on the Seward Peninsula, plus moose, barren-ground caribou, mountain goat, and Sitka blacktail — guided 1x1 or 2x1 with a leave-no-trace mentality and limited client numbers.

Season & Booking
Alaska hunting seasons vary significantly by Game Management Unit and species. Confirm current seasons with ADF&G and book well in advance — quality outfitters fill 6–18 months ahead for peak species. Non-residents must be accompanied by a licensed guide or qualifying Alaska resident for most big game species.
