Alaska Wilderness Lodge

Alaskan Wilderness Outfitting Company is a family-owned operation based in Cordova that has hosted visitors since 1982. Trips center on fishing — the company counts 14 game fish species in its waters, including salmon, halibut, rainbow trout, steelhead, and Arctic grayling — with kayaking, hiking, flightseeing, and photography on the side.

Guests choose between full-service stays at Tsiu River Lodge, do-it-yourself floating and outpost cabin packages, or combination trips. The company says repeat customers make up 75 percent of its business.
