Aniak River Lodge

Aniak River Lodge is a remote camp on the banks of the Aniak River in western Alaska, with tent-based accommodations and a deliberately no-frills wilderness approach — no helicopters, no planes, and no other boats on the water, which the lodge sums up as Alaska the way it was and should be.

The fishing is the draw: all five species of Pacific salmon, leopard rainbow trout, Arctic char, grayling, sheefish, and northern pike, with mousing featured as part of the program and staff handling guest transport on the river.
