About Bear Creek Camp & International Hostel
Bear Creek Camp is owned by Donna Catotti, a professional artist and Haines resident of more than 30 years. Formerly an international youth hostel, the camp sits on Small Tracts Road, 1.7 miles from downtown Haines.
Lodging runs from a self-contained family cabin sleeping six to six private dry cabins rented seasonally from May through September for one or two people, with a communal kitchen, men's and women's bathhouses, a picnic shelter, and a campfire area. Catotti describes the aim as an intentional community of people who care about the earth, recycling, and healthy living.
Background as described by the operator on their own website.
