Intricate Bay Lodge is owner-operated by Brian Harry, who covers most of the jobs himself — pilot, fishing guide, mechanic, concierge, and host. The lodge sits on Lake Iliamna in Alaska's designated trophy rainbow trout area and has been Orvis-endorsed since 2018.

Guests, capped at six per trip, fish the Copper, Gibraltar, Kvichak, and Kulik rivers for rainbows and sockeye, with fly-out days and guided or DIY float trips also offered. The house style is all-day effort: on the water from wake-up until the boats come home.
