Keex' Kwaan Lodge

Keex' Kwaan Lodge sits on the shore of Keku Strait in the heart of Kake, blending the surrounding wilderness, Tlingit heritage and local hospitality; its listed contact is the Organized Village of Kake tribal office. Rooms come with Wi-Fi, satellite TV and laundry access, and select rooms have full kitchenettes.

Kake serves as a base for fishing halibut and all five Pacific salmon species and for wildlife viewing: humpback whales feed on herring in the strait through summer, and black bears and eagles gather near the lodge when the dog salmon run up the creek. The local store, ferry terminal, historic cannery and Gunnuk Creek Hatchery overlook are all minutes away.
