About Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge
Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge sits 28 miles south of Tok in the Little Tok Valley, on the site of the 1940s-era Log Cabin Inn — a roadhouse the Jilson family ran on the old Tok Cut-off until the road was rebuilt away from it in 1970. John and Jill Rusyniak bought the 11-acre property in 2004, hand-built a Scandinavian-style log home, and opened the current lodge in May 2008.
Guests stay in five historic log cabins on site, with the owners' modern Cloudberry Cabins available in town; catering can be arranged for groups, and grills and a fire pit are on hand for guest cooking.
