About Twin Peaks Adventures

Twin Peaks Adventures is owned by Ben Rowe, a pilot and guide born and raised in Nome who holds an airline transport rating and flight instructor certificate, flies fixed-wing and rotor aircraft on skis and floats, and spent three summers as a fisheries technician for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. He is a certified Alaska freshwater fishing guide, first-aid responder, and rescue diver.

The outfit runs small-group, helicopter fly-out fly fishing on the Seward Peninsula around Nome — five or six days flying to remote water, with float trips and a base cabin on the Snake River — for Arctic grayling, Dolly Varden, silver salmon, and northern pike. The guide roster includes Fred DeCicco, a retired ADF&G area biologist and IFFF-certified casting instructor who spent 25-plus years researching Dolly Varden and grayling.
