About Wilderness Beach Lodge

Travis Larson operates Wilderness Beach Lodge at Settlers Cove near Port Lions on Kodiak Island, running the boats alongside captains Josh and Justin. The lodge fishes salt water for king salmon, halibut, lingcod, and yelloweye rockfish, and fresh water for silver, red, and chum salmon, rainbow trout, and Dolly Varden.

It also offers Sitka blacktail deer hunts and a cast-and-blast combo mixing deer, ducks, and king salmon. Trips run from two boats, the 30-foot Bountiful and the 40-foot Viking, and the lodge promotes bear watching, whale watching, kayaking, and paddleboarding around the fishing.

Background as described by the operator on their own website.
