ACE Fishing Adventures — formally Aaron Cooper's Extreme Fishing Adventures — has been operating since 2004. Cooper grew up hunting and fishing in southeast Idaho, guided fly fishing on Montana's Missouri River, then took marine training at AVTEC in Seward; he holds a USCG Master of Motor Vessels license along with current first aid and CPR certifications.
The outfit runs 20-foot Willie power and drift boats and bills itself as one of the few year-round operations in the state, fishing the Kenai, Kasilof, and Russian rivers, Cook Inlet, and the Seward area for salmon, trout, steelhead, and halibut. Trips range from day outings to multi-week custom packages, each built around the group rather than a set schedule.
