Adventures in Alaska Charters

Adventures in Alaska Charters is a husband-and-wife business run by Alan and Tanja Corbett, a locally owned Juneau charter in operation for 20 years since founder Captain Jack Cadigan started it. Alan, an Irishman with a law degree, worked his way through Southeast Asia, Australia and the South Pacific before landing in Alaska. He holds a Coast Guard 50-ton Masters license, graduated the Chapman School of Seamanship, and has 12 years as a captain in Juneau on top of six as naturalist and crew, with past lives as a scuba instructor, wildlife photographer and bear-viewing guide.

Trips are private only — a maximum of six passengers, never mixed with strangers — fishing salmon and halibut aboard the Narwhal, a 2020 29 ft North River Sea-Hawk aluminum boat.
