Alaska Drift Away Fishing

Alaska Drift Away Fishing was established in 2005 by co-owners Jeremy Anderson and Nicholas Ohlrich, both Wisconsin-raised. Anderson has fished the Kenai since 2002 and also owns Alaska Silvertip Lodge & Cabins; Ohlrich has more than two decades guiding the Kenai and Kasilof. Guide Nigel Fox, who learned to row drift boats in southern Oregon and moved to Alaska in eighth grade, has guided since 2000 and partnered with the pair since 2004.

The outfit runs drift boats and power boats on the Kenai and Kasilof for salmon and trophy rainbow trout, fly or spin, on half-day through multi-day trips — with as many laughs and stories as fish, by their own telling.
