Explore Kenai

Explore Kenai is owned and guided by Dallas and Dustin Voss, both U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captains. Dallas is a lifelong Alaskan who moved to Kenai at age three, comes from a commercial fishing family, worked for the Alaska Department of Fish & Game, and hosts women's fly fishing trips with Women's Fly Fishing. Dustin grew up in Barrow above the Arctic Circle, graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage, works as a professional firefighter on the Kenai Peninsula, and belongs to the Kenai River Professional Guide Association.

Trips cover Kenai River sockeye, silvers, kings, and rainbow trout, Kasilof River salmon, and saltwater charters for halibut and rockfish, run from a fleet of 21-foot Willie and North River boats plus a 20-foot drift boat, with a conservation-minded, beginner-friendly approach.
