Fishbone Charters

Fishbone Charters is owned and run by Todd Kingery, its chief guide, out of the Susitna River drainage near Talkeetna. Trips range from chasing trophy king salmon to light-tackle rainbow fishing on small rivers and creeks, and the operation runs North River boats built for Alaskan rivers.

Kingery's approach is less about gear than time on the water — as he puts it, he's never met a person who could fish and worry at the same time — and he leans on years of experience and intimate knowledge of the area.
