Captain Jeff Cundiff has lived in the Homer area since 1958, homesteading north of town, with commercial seasons in herring, salmon, halibut, and crab behind him. He ran the first sportfishing charter to depart from Anchor Point in 1984 and has been owner-operated for four decades since.
The boat is the F/V Nona's Ark, a Peregrine Marine catamaran built in Alaska for Alaskan waters, repowered with twin 300-hp Yamahas in 2023, with an enclosed electric-flush bathroom aboard. Trips cover halibut, king salmon trolling, combo and multi-species fishing, and brown-bear viewing — still finding adventure in every trip.
