Kain's Fishing Adventures is owned and operated by Greg Kain, who grew up fishing in Washington State, began guiding steelhead trips professionally shortly after high school, and earned his Coast Guard license four years into guiding. He has run the Sitka operation for over two decades.
The lodge sells all-inclusive packages: guided saltwater fishing for king salmon, silver salmon, halibut and rockfish from a four-boat fleet, with lodging on Halibut Point Road, chef-prepared meals, and fish processing and shipping. The longtime crew includes captain Evan Bower, on the water there since 2015, and lodge manager Michelle Trimmer, on staff since 2007.
