Kenai Fly Fish

Kenai Fly Fish is owned and operated by Ian McDonald, who was raised in Girdwood, started fly fishing at age seven, and began guiding professionally at 18 in Bristol Bay before guiding in Katmai National Park. He has fished dozens of rivers for salmon and trout over the years and recently became the Cortland representative for Alaska.

Guided full- and half-day trips run the Kenai and Kasilof rivers for salmon, steelhead, rainbow trout and Dolly Varden, fly or conventional tackle, with top-of-the-line rods and reels matched to the method supplied on every trip.
