Local Guy Charters is owned by Captain Adam Underwood, born and raised in Southeast Alaska with over 35 years on boats. Fishing runs in the family — his father hand-trolled salmon near Hoonah in the 1970s and his grandfather Peter Warner ran Warner's Marina in Juneau. Underwood holds a US Coast Guard captain's license and once spent eight months patrolling the Bering Sea with the Alaska State Troopers.
