About Miller's Landing
Miller's Landing sits on the Miller family's original Lowell Point homestead, founded in territorial Alaska in the 1950s by Grandma Penny and her children. Mike Miller started the current business in 1982, and it has stayed family-run ever since, growing from a modest campground into a full adventure basecamp; Mike has since retired, with his sons Chance and Tom — both licensed captains — carrying it on.
The operation covers fishing charters, water taxi service, guided sea kayaking, cabins and campsites, a café, and gear rentals, all from the beach at Lowell Point just outside Seward.
