One-on-one horseback and foot hunts for sheep, grizzly, moose and wolf in the Alaska Range, guided by Healy-based registered guide Brent Keith.

Castle Rock Outfitters is run by registered Alaskan guide Brent Keith, who has guided in Alaska for over 15 years and lives year-round with his family in the hunt area, based out of Healy. In winter he runs a 100-mile trapline, which doubles as a way of monitoring game populations and movements across the country he hunts.
The outfit hunts Dall sheep, grizzly, moose, caribou, and wolf in Alaska Range units 20 and 13, the Talkeetna Mountains, and the upper Susitna drainage, working from two comfortable main camps by horseback and on foot with spike camps in support; late-winter wolf hunts travel by snowmachine or ATV. Keith limits client numbers each year, runs one-on-one guided hunts, and pitches a fair-chase hunt 'the way it used to be' in country with plenty of game.

Alaska hunting seasons vary significantly by Game Management Unit and species. Confirm current seasons with ADF&G and book well in advance — quality outfitters fill 6–18 months ahead for peak species. Non-residents must be accompanied by a licensed guide or qualifying Alaska resident for most big game species.
