Admiralty Island Charters

Admiralty Island Charters describes itself as the only remote sportfishing and guide operation physically based on Admiralty Island year-round. Its lodge sits on 20 acres of private forested land, and all guests are flown in by floatplane. Groups are kept to four or five guests at a time, fishing full days on the calm Inside Passage waters of Southeast Alaska with a Coast Guard-licensed captain.

Guests are outfitted on arrival with raingear, boots, lunches, and drinks, and after the day's fishing can take an equipped skiff back out for another halibut or walk to watch brown bears feeding on returning salmon.
