Alaska's Boardwalk Lodge

Alaska's Boardwalk Lodge is an all-inclusive lodge in Thorne Bay on Prince of Wales Island, tucked into the Tongass rainforest. The fishing covers three fronts: saltwater trips aboard 28-foot boats with heated cabins and toilets, plus freshwater and fly fishing for steelhead and salmon on streams the lodge notes are easy to walk and wade — workable water for novices, kids, and less-mobile anglers.

Rooms and suites each have private baths, and the lodge regularly hosts corporate retreats and family reunions alongside individual anglers. It also runs a fishing school and handles fish processing, cleaning, filleting, and vacuum-packing the catch for the trip home.
