About Egdorf's Nushagak Camp

The camp formerly known as Egdorf's Western Alaska now operates as Outpost on the Nush and has been in continuous operation on the upper Nushagak River since 1982. Dave Pishko owns the camp, which takes just six anglers at a time, one per cabin, with floatplane access and 18-foot jet boats working the surrounding water.

It is a deliberately simple wilderness camp that prioritizes access to lightly pressured water over lodge amenities, fishing rainbow trout, grayling, Dolly Varden, arctic char, and all five Pacific salmon species.
