The Farm Lodge was founded in 1977 by Glen and Patty Alsworth, who started it alongside their air service, Lake Clark Air, from the family homestead on the shore of Hardenburg Bay in Port Alsworth. Their son Glen Alsworth Jr. and his wife Lelya have managed the lodge since 1997, and in 2021 the family formed Lake Clark Resort LLC, the name the operation now uses. Glen Sr. has logged over 40,000 flight hours, and the family's tagline is five generations and still exploring.
The lodge pairs 12 guest cabins with its own floatplanes and bush planes, flying guests into Lake Clark and Katmai national parks for bear viewing, rainbow trout fishing, rafting, and photography — lifelong Alaskans aiming to reach wild country without giving up safety or comfort.
