About Gone Fishin' Lodge

Gone Fishin' Lodge has hosted anglers on the Kenai River since 1996 under owners Ralph Crystal and Richard Bowen. The Soldotna lodge runs guided river trips for king, silver, and sockeye salmon plus rainbow trout and Dolly Varden, saltwater charters for halibut, ling cod, and rockfish, and float-plane fly-outs to wilderness water, with bear viewing and glacier tours on the side.

The owners' stated aim from the beginning was to pair the fishing with the chance to experience Alaska's beauty. Guests get on-site fish processing with vacuum sealing and daily freezing, a laundry room, and free breakfast, with an emphasis on making every guest feel like part of the family.
