Spey-only king salmon program at tidewater on the Togiak River, run by brothers Zack and Jordan Larsen with Epic Waters Angling.

Togiak Spey is the king salmon spey program at Togiak River Lodge, which brothers Zack and Jordan Larsen bought in 2020 — Zack guided before stepping up as owner. Working with Steve Morrow of Epic Waters Angling, who first assessed the river's swing-fishing potential in 2019, they built a dedicated spey program for Togiak kings after the river went catch-and-release, artificials-only in 2023, an outgrowth of their push to change the culture around king salmon harvest and conservation there.
The camp sits at river mile 6, close to tidewater, swinging for kings fresh from the Bering Sea across roughly 25 miles of water. Guests stay in wood cabins — single occupancy during spey season, private bathrooms, 24-hour power — with a 14-guest cap and lodge spey rods from Guideline, NAM, and Sage.
