Tree Tops Lodge

Tree Tops Lodge sits in the small cove of Thorne Bay on Prince of Wales Island, surrounded by the Tongass National Forest, and operates under a US Forest Service permit. Bubba Griggers manages the lodge.

The fishing splits between salt and fresh water: halibut, lingcod, yelloweye, and the various salmon species in the protected waters of the Inside Passage and the outer islands, with fly fishing available on local lakes and streams. Off the water, the lodge points guests toward El Capitan Caves, the AnAn Creek bear observatory, and daily wildlife viewing — whales, bears, eagles, seals, and sea lions.
