Wrangell Mountain Lodge

Wrangell Mountain Lodge is hosted by owners James and Cristina, who live at the lodge year-round. Guests stay in five cabins — Hunter, Bear, Fishing, Moose and the Cook House — in a rustic setup with modern conveniences near McCarthy, and the hosts coordinate hunting, fishing, glacier tours, ice climbing, rafting and bush plane charters.

Note for planning: the site states the lodge is closed for renovation and is not accepting reservations for the 2026 season.
