Paxson, Alaska

Paxson sits at the junction of the Richardson and Denali Highways at 2,700 feet elevation. The Delta caribou herd migrates through surrounding areas, and trophy bull moose inhabit the nearby drainages. Paxson Lake offers lake trout, Arctic char, and grayling fishing. The Denali Highway to the west opens road-accessible caribou hunting in Units 13 and 20.
