About Allen Marine Tours
Allen Marine Tours was founded in Sitka in 1970 by Bob and Betty Allen and is now owned and operated by their grandson, Jamey Cagle. The family- and Alaska Native-owned company calls itself the largest and most experienced day-cruise operator in Alaska, running more than 30 vessels — mostly high-performance waterjet catamarans designed and built in its own Sitka shipyard.
From Ketchikan, its excursions cruise Misty Fjords National Monument, run waterfront and wildlife tours, pair a wildlife safari with a beach campfire, and shuttle passengers between downtown and Ward Cove.
