Southeast Exposure is a family-owned outdoor adventure center that started in 1986 from a home in downtown Ketchikan — by the company's telling, 'kayaks soon took over the yard.' In 2005 it moved to Clover Pass at mile 14 of the Tongass Highway, north of town.
The operation centers on sea kayaking, with guided tours to Eagle Island and the Tatoosh Islands and a six-day guided expedition into Misty Fiords National Monument. It has added an eight-line zipline adventure park, Zodiac boat tours, and bike rentals over the years, and holds Adventure Green Alaska certification.
Background as described by the operator on their own website.
