Coldwater Alaska is a water taxi, tour, and charter company on the Homer Spit run by Brad and Lisa, a husband-and-wife team of Homer natives who bought a boat and entered the water taxi business in 2016. The fleet is a pair of aluminum landing craft — the North Cape, a 36-foot Coast Guard-inspected catamaran, and the 32-foot Castle Cape — used for water taxi runs across Kachemak Bay, private charters, freight, spearfishing trips, and dinner runs to Odyssey Lodge. Their aim is flexible service built on local knowledge of the bay and its seasons.
