Berg's Frontier Fishing Guides

Berg's Frontier Fishing Guides is owned and run by Corey Berg, who started out as a kid walking the banks of the Little Susitna River and has spent more than 25 years guiding anglers in Southcentral Alaska. The operation fishes the Deshka, Little Susitna, and Talkeetna rivers plus Mat-Su Valley lakes for all five salmon species, rainbow trout, northern pike, Arctic grayling, Dolly Varden, and burbot.

In winter Berg runs ice fishing trips on Mat-Su Valley lakes, reaching remote water by snowmobile. It's a family operation — his three kids help out — and trips take anglers of all abilities, from beginners to seasoned hands.
