Chosen River Outfitters

Chosen River Outfitters is the Alaska program of High Country Guide Service, running 6-to-10-day guided float trips on the Kanektok (the "Chosen"), Goodnews, Arolik, and Kisaralik rivers in Southwest Alaska's Togiak National Wildlife Refuge — a maximum of six guests per trip, custom-made rafts, streamside camps, and full meals.

Owner and operations manager David "Davo" Stelling holds a recreation management degree from Appalachian State, has guided since 2005, has floated the Kanektok since 2006, and took over as head guide in 2017; he is also a licensed OUPV charter captain in Southeast Alaska. Target species include rainbow trout, all five Pacific salmon, grayling, Dolly Varden, and Arctic char.
