About Graylight Sportfishing

Graylight Sportfishing is run by Andy Mezirow, a lifetime professional fisherman with more than 35 years of ocean experience who has held a USCG 200-ton master's license for over three decades. He started out on the East Coast with the Viking Fleet in Montauk, began commercial halibut fishing in Alaska in 1983, and has guided Seward waters exclusively for nearly three decades. His guests have set more than 30 IGFA light-tackle world records, and he spent nine years as the sole Alaska sportfishing representative on the North Pacific Fishery Management Council.

The operation runs light-tackle salmon trips from May into early September aboard the Gray Light, a custom-built 31-foot Radon boat, taking up to four anglers per private charter, plus limited remote lodge-based trips for salmon, lingcod, and rockfish. Relief captain Tee Barnett is a Kenai Peninsula-raised Alaskan who has run charter boats since 1999.
