The Fish House

The Fish House has been owned and operated by Seward's Clemens family since 1974. The operation books saltwater charters on a fleet of five vessels, fishing halibut, silver salmon, rockfish and lingcod out of Seward — with the Gulf of Alaska just minutes from the harbor — plus combination trips and Kenai Fjords sightseeing.

Alongside the charters the family runs a large marine and tackle store, over 30,000 square feet of retail space stocked with marine supplies, tackle, ammunition and clothing. Boats are dry-docked and gone through every winter — hull, engine, electrical and safety gear — which lets the fleet run earlier and later in the season than many operators.
