Coldfoot, Alaska

Coldfoot Camp is a truck stop, motel, and wilderness base at milepost 175 on the Dalton Highway — the only facilities between Fairbanks and Deadhorse. It serves as the primary staging point for Brooks Range hunting and fishing expeditions. Dall sheep hunting in the Brooks Range is world-class; grizzly bear and caribou are also targeted. Arctic char and grayling fishing in the North Fork of the Koyukuk.
