Copper Center, Alaska

Copper Center sits at the confluence of the Copper and Klutina Rivers, at the entrance to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park — the largest national park in the US. The area supports Dall sheep hunting in the Wrangell Mountains, trophy moose in the Copper River basin, and world-class sockeye salmon fishing on the Klutina River in summer. Road-accessible from both Anchorage and Fairbanks via the Richardson Highway.
