Alaska Remote Guide Service

Alaska Remote Guide Service is Wayne Kubat's operation. Kubat has lived in Alaska since 1976, holds Master Guide license #147, and has conducted more than 200 guided hunts since 1986; he flies his own Super Cub with some 7,000 hours of Alaska bush time. He runs a sole-use guide concession of over 600 square miles in the Denali Preserve near Mt. Denali, plus camps on neighboring state land, guiding moose, brown and grizzly bear, black bear, and Dall sheep.

The operation stays deliberately small — one guide per one or two hunters and roughly eight to ten clients a year — so hunts can be matched to each client's preferences and abilities.
