About Anglers Alibi

Angler's Alibi is a fly-fishing lodge on the tidewater stretch of the Alagnak River in Bristol Bay, reached by floatplane from King Salmon. It was founded in the early 1990s by Karl Storath, who started guiding at No See Um Lodge in the 1970s and built the operation on a simple pitch: out-fish the neighboring lodges while keeping white-tablecloth hospitality — formal meal service and bedside coffee included — in what it calls a deluxe tent lodge.

The lodge hosts 10–12 guests a week with seven guides and ten boats, fishing all five Pacific salmon species, trophy rainbow trout in a designated trophy trout area, Arctic char, and grayling, with fly-outs to remote waters.
