Kodiak Adventures Lodge

Kodiak Adventures Lodge is a remote fly-in lodge reached by a scenic 30-minute floatplane flight from the city of Kodiak. It is run by Larry and Shelly Carroll, who grew up in Minnesota and whose sense of adventure brought the family north: Larry has raced the Yukon Quest sled dog race five times and guided big game in Idaho and Alaska, while Shelly is a lifelong hunter who has published wild game and fish cookbooks.

The lodge's program covers salmon and halibut fishing, blacktail deer and duck hunting, and whale watching.
