About Salmon Catcher Lodge

Salmon Catcher Lodge in Kenai is owned and run by Justin and Gloria Hilgendorff and their four children. Justin grew up in New York's Catskills learning hospitality at his family's historic Winter Clove Inn and later ran a construction company; Gloria was raised on a dairy farm and taught elementary school. After discovering Alaska on a road trip, they sold their Catskill home, traveled full-time by RV, and took over the lodge, calling it 'a family dream brought to life.'

The lodge pairs log-cabin lodging with guided king, silver, and sockeye trips on the Kenai and Kasilof, halibut charters, and rainbow trout trips, plus on-site fish processing, a sauna, and a hot tub.
